Domestic Violence Services

Located at 801 N. Santa Fe Ave.

Provides 24 hour emergency shelter to survivors of domestic (intimate partner) violence and their children. The shelter provides counselors, trained case managers/legal advocates, and domestic violence advocates. Staff members and the crisis hotline are available 24-hours a day.

Free counseling is available to women and children who have experienced and witnessed domestic violence. Protection Order Modification class is also available for parents and includes sessions with their children. We also offer an Effects of Domestic Violence on Children for abusers class. Please call the above number to schedule an appointment or sign up for one of the mentioned classes.

Teresa’s Place

Located at 710 W. 4th St.

Teresa’s Place provides a safe, secure, and culturally accessible place for parents to visit or exchange their children when domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, or stalking has occurred within the family.

Warm Water Aquatics

Located at 801 N. Santa Fe Ave.

The main YWCA building is home to the warm water swimming pool. The program offers certified lifeguards, lap swim, open swim, water aerobics, arthritis class, and swimming lessons for adults and children. Pool rentals are also available for parties.
