YWCA Southern Colorado is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families and strengthen communities. We offer critical domestic violence services and empower over 4,000 individuals annually through securing shelter, promoting self-sufficiency and providing education, case management and counseling.
YWCA Southern Colorado is seeking an Executive Director. This position carries major responsibility for representing the Organization in the Community, working with the Board of Directors and Volunteers, administrative responsibility for carrying out the policies of the Organization, as established by the Board, including supervising and developing staff, financial development and fiscal policy implementation, program development and facility management.

Responsibilities:
Financial: Projection, preparation and administration of the annual budget. Managing all aspects of fiscal management, participating in annual audit reviews. Works with the Board, Directors and Staff to identify and develop revenue sources, coordinates with the Board and is active in fundraising events, programs and opportunities.
Board Interaction: Works with the Board to develop and maintain a strategic planning process. Takes part in Board activities such as Board meetings, Committee meetings, Board orientation, Fundraising activities and Community presentations when appropriate, or requested. Meets regularly with Board President and Executive and Finance Committee.
Administration: Responsible for all aspects of staff recruiting and management. Administers personnel policies, implements affirmative action and salary administration plans. Responsible for staff training and development.
Develop and maintain a positive community image as an organization dedicated to the empowerment of women and eliminating racism. Participate in Community Associations, Boards, Meetings and Trainings.
Experience: Bachelor’s Degree required. Graduate Degree preferred. Grant Writing experience preferred. Education and experience related to the administration, operation and promotion of a community based organization.
